Hotel Central Basilica, (46 rooms) description: The hotel was built in Classicist style around 1840. The renewed building is in particular harmony with the historical surrounding. Though, it is situated fairly close to an interchange, the street of the hotel and its adjacent belong to the pedestrian quarter, hence our rooms are really quiet.

For a minute walk from our hotel:
Basilica - The largest church of the capital is situated in the heart of Budapest, in Szent István Square, 50 metres from our hotel.
Erzsébet tér - having been renewed this year, is the most recent park of the City Centre. Playgrounds, sport facilities, fountains and resting places are waiting for the visitors.
Lánchíd (Chain-Bridge) - The first permanent stone bridge connecting Pest and Buda was built in 1849 on the initiation of Count Széchenyi István, and with the construction overseen by the British engineer, Adam Clark.

ARRIVAL BY CAR:
Direction from motorway M1, M7:
On motorway M1, M7 you need to follow “Centrum” traffic sign up to the Lánchíd ( Chain Bridge ), then drive across Roosevelt Square on József Attila Street, and then turn left onto Sas street which goes straight into the deep garage of Basilica. From here, it is only a few steps to get to the hotel.
Direction from motorway M3:
From motorway M3 you need to follow “Centrum” traffic sign and then drive to Andrássy Avenue up to Sas street, where you need to turn right and it goes straight into the deep garage.

Right next to the Hotel Central Basilica we ensure special parking facilites for guests in one of the most up-to-date and biggest garages of Budapest!
ARRIVAL BY TRAIN:
The quickest way is to use underground line 2 in case you arrive at the East Railway Station or at the South Railway Station. If you arrive at the West Railway Station, you are advised to use the underground line 1.
All underground lines meet at Deák Square; this is the interchange of the public transports in Budapest. The underground stop at Deák Square is altogether 200 metres from our hotel.
ARRIVAL FROM THE AIRPORT:
The most simple and cheapest way to get to us from Airport Ferihegy is to use the service of the Airport Minibus, the front desk of which can be found at the Arrivals Hall of the Airport, and its terminal point is at Deák Square next to our hotel. On your request we organise an airport transfer as well.
